Sotonye Tomlin

I graduated from Brock University with a BSc. in Biochemistry and went on to work successfully as a medical laboratory technologist for over 15 years. For several years, however, I suffered from severe abdominal pain, constant cold and flu-like symptoms, joint aches and pains, and a foggy memory.

After trying conventional medical treatments to no avail, I began experimenting with different diets and found that the types of food I was eating had a tremendous impact on how I was feeling. This sparked my growing interest in nutrition and led me to enroll at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, where I would graduate at the top of my class. It was there I learned the importance of gut integrity, and how to naturally increase gut flora with natural and traditionally prepared foods.

I can proudly say that I now rarely feel sick, and I am able to enjoy eating out without fear of any health repercussions.

I value natural, whole foods as a primary source of nutrients, with supplements being used to aid where necessary. We usually think that eating healthy should be enough to rid ourselves of many health problems, but often our gut is the main culprit and needs to be addressed first. I look forward to helping clients improve their gut health, prioritize a well-balanced diet, and work their way back to optimal health while being free to enjoy themselves and eat what they like.

While gut health and discomfort can often seem endless.  There are solutions available to you.  Knowing what to eat and the relationship your diet has on your discomfort is key to ending the vicious cycle.

Let me help guide you toward better days.
